In partnership with ICAO, Kazakhstan is developing a civil aviation master plan through 2050, with a strong emphasis on industry digitalization.

The Advantix Group team brings over 15 years of experience in developing IT solutions for aviation. The PANORAMA platform integrates modules for ground handling resource management and optimization, schedule optimization, crew planning, and fleet assignment, enabling airports and airlines to reduce operational costs by 15-20%. Advantix Group solutions have already been successfully deployed at aviation enterprises in the country.

“Central Asia is one of the most promising aviation markets in the world. Kazakhstan is setting the pace: ambitious infrastructure modernization plans, growing passenger traffic, and a commitment to digital transformation create ideal conditions for deploying modern platform-based solutions. We see significant partnership potential and are ready to share the expertise that has already proven its effectiveness in practice,” says Sergey Silaev, Vice President of Advantix Group.

Among the company’s near-term plans is participation in the Central Asia: Digital Aviation Forum (CADA) on April 21 in Almaty, where an Advantix Group representative will serve as a speaker and moderator of one of the key sessions, as well as the development of the partner network and the implementation of new projects in Kazakhstan and neighboring countries.

About Advantix Group

Advantix Group is an international IT company and the developer of the PANORAMA platform for managing operational processes in civil aviation. International IT company Advantix Group has successfully completed the implementation of a CUTE/CUPPS common-use platform and an automated passenger track control system at Ust-Kamenogorsk (Oskemen) Airport. The comprehensive solution has enabled the airport to significantly increase its throughput capacity, enhance passenger service quality, and strengthen aviation security.

Oskemen Airport is a key air transport hub in East Kazakhstan, serving domestic and international flights operated by four airlines. In 2025, the airport's passenger traffic grew by 14%, reaching 745,000 passengers. Amid rapidly growing passenger volumes and an increasing number of flights and destinations, the airport decided to digitally modernize its check-in and passenger control systems using Advantix Group's platform-based solutions. The implementation of CUTE/CUPPS and the multi-factor passenger control system has provided the airport with:

•      simultaneous operation of multiple airlines at shared check-in counters and boarding gates, eliminating the need to assign equipment to a specific carrier and reducing resource downtime;

•      support for electronic boarding passes and automated multi-factor document verification at every stage from pre-flight security screening to boarding;

•      real-time tracking of each passenger across all terminal zones, including automated aviation security checks;

• a 30-40% increase in terminal throughput through dynamic resource allocation.

"When an airport's passenger traffic grows by 10% or more per year, manual counter management and paper boarding passes become a bottleneck. CUTE/CUPPS removes this constraint: any airline can be served at any counter, while the passenger control system transforms the entire terminal into a seamless digital environment – from check-in to boarding. For East Kazakhstan, this represents a fundamentally new level of infrastructure," says Timur Geydarov, Managing Director of Advantix Group in the Kazakhstan region.

"As passenger traffic grew and new airlines entered the market, we faced the need to fundamentally rethink our approach to passenger services. The implementation of CUTE/CUPPS and the passenger track control system by Advantix Group enabled us not just to automate processes, but to build an end-to-end digital workflow where every passenger is served faster and more securely. We are seeing tangible results: shorter queues, flexible use of check-in counters and boarding gates, and improved performance of security services. This is an important step in the modernization of our airport," comments Anastasia Fomenko, Head of Passenger Services at Ust-Kamenogorsk Airport.

Original source: centralasiaplus.aero
</turbo:content>

Marina Savateeva, CPO of Advantix Group, will moderate and deliver the keynote presentation at the “Digital Frontiers: Next-Gen Solutions for Airport Operations” session at the second international Central Asia: Digital Aviation (CADA) forum, taking place on April 21 in Almaty. Her presentation, “Trends in Digital Airport Solutions: Efficiency Meets Innovation,” will focus on the practical application of artificial intelligence technologies to enhance airport operational efficiency.

Central Asia is the world’s fastest-growing aviation market: over the past 20 years, air transport capacity in the region has grown nearly 500%, with growth continuing at over 8% year-on-year in 2026. Kazakhstan is the region’s largest aviation market, accounting for more than half of all passenger traffic in Central Asia. The country is actively investing in airport infrastructure modernization, with over $1.5 billion committed to the development of airports in Astana, Almaty, and Shymkent. Rising passenger volumes are driving airports to transition from automating individual processes to intelligent real-time operations management.

In her presentation, Marina Savateeva will outline Advantix Group’s approach to deploying AI as a decision-support tool for airport operations. Practical use cases include:

•      computer vision for apron operations control – automated detection of equipment placement and deviations from standard operating procedures;

•      check-in queue monitoring – automated task generation within the Resource Management System (RMS) when queue thresholds are exceeded;

•      AI-driven energy management under the Green Airport concept – dynamic control based on equipment utilization analysis;

• AI advisor for HUB control dispatchers – evaluation of financial and operational implications across multiple scenarios for transfer passenger protection.

Following the presentation, Marina Savateeva will moderate the “Digital Frontiers: Next-Gen Solutions for Airport Operations” panel discussion featuring IT leaders from the international airports of Astana, Almaty, Aktau, Shymkent, and Manas (Bishkek).

“Airports in Central Asia are entering a phase where basic automation creates limitations in operational performance. The next step is AI as a decision-support tool – not generative, but prescriptive, embedded in the operational loop and working with real data in real time. At CADA, we will discuss specific use cases, from apron control to transfer management, where AI can already deliver measurable results,” says Sergey Silaev, Vice President of Advantix Group.

CADA is being held for the second time and brings together leading players in the region’s aviation industry. The inaugural forum, held in October 2025, attracted over 250 participants from 178 companies.
</turbo:content>
