Kazakhstan’s aviation industry is experiencing a period of dynamic growth: in 2025, the country’s airports served a record 31.8 million passengers, the route network is actively expanding, and major infrastructure projects are underway in Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, and Aktau. In partnership with ICAO, Kazakhstan is developing a civil aviation master plan through 2050, with a strong emphasis on industry digitalization.

• a 30-40% increase in terminal throughput through dynamic resource allocation.

Central Asia is the world’s fastest-growing aviation market: over the past 20 years, air transport capacity in the region has grown nearly 500%, with growth continuing at over 8% year-on-year in 2026. Kazakhstan is the region’s largest aviation market, accounting for more than half of all passenger traffic in Central Asia. The country is actively investing in airport infrastructure modernization, with over $1.5 billion committed to the development of airports in Astana, Almaty, and Shymkent. Rising passenger volumes are driving airports to transition from automating individual processes to intelligent real-time operations management.

In her presentation, Marina Savateeva will outline Advantix Group’s approach to deploying AI as a decision-support tool for airport operations. Practical use cases include:

Following the presentation, Marina Savateeva will moderate the “Digital Frontiers: Next-Gen Solutions for Airport Operations” panel discussion featuring IT leaders from the international airports of Astana, Almaty, Aktau, Shymkent, and Manas (Bishkek).
